Venus Rising are a UK based folkrock band, named in support of The Venus Project's global aims for peace, sustainability and abundance for all. The band have been supported by BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing Radio Caroline, Tom Robinson, Kim Wilde and Mark Radcliffe. Live highlights so far have been playing at Liverpool Cavern Club's IPO Festival, May 2019, and supporting The Phil Hilborne Band at The Robin 2, Bilston, June 2019 (live videos here).

Their debut album 'Happy Daze' was released in May 2017. The celebrations continued the next day, when they headlined online TV show The Honey Box Live. The album was produced by long time friend of the band Glyn Sutton at Colossus Productions in Crewe, Cheshire. It features Steve Lewis on bass, Dave Lavin on drums and backing vocals, Pete Mason on lead guitar and Sheena Bratt on acoustic guitar and lead/backing vocals. The lineup now has Dave Coomer on drums and Mike Insley on lead guitar.

Sheena has been solo support act to Glenn Tilbrook, gigged in Thailand and Luxembourg, sang on TV Globo in Brazil and sang live with Hemstock & Jennings. In December 2018 'Time Stood Still' was released on Black Hole's Rielism, by Adam White (Euphoria/Perfecto) and AJ Gibson (God's Kitchen/Perfecto) featuring Sheena. The progressive trance track was premiered at Subculture 2018 by Sied Van Riel in Melbourne Arena. Sheena is working with a variety of producers in different genres.
